ceara margaret hennessey is an Irish-American writer born and raised on unceded Munsee Lenape land. they received their b.a. in creative writing from Seton Hall University, where they won the 2019 South Wind Thesis Prize. their fiction and poetry appears in Hobart, Pigeon Pages, Angel Food, and Paloma, among others. they’ve received support from Brooklyn Poets and Lighthouse Writers. they currently work for the Center for Fiction, formerly edited fiction for Variant Literature, have read and edited for various literary anthologies/prizes/fellowships, and co-founded and edits the literary magazine shoegaze literary.
